THE SIMMONS GROUP, a Canadian company, operates world wide with divisions including Edeco Petroleum Services, Simmons Drilling (Overseas) Limited, PT Mutiara Biru Perkasa, and Oryx Oil and Gas. The core business of Simmons is onshore drilling and workover operations principally serving the oil, gas, gas storage, geothermal and geoscientific markets internationally.

To support our operations in Indonesia, we are seeking highly qualified Experienced Candidates for the following position:

TOOL PUSHER (WELL SERVICING)
The right candidate will work with Rig Manager during the day and assist to supervise all works including keeping the Superintendent informed of any incidents, deviation of program or other information that might be relevant to the safety and success of the rig operation.
(placement in Indonesia / PT Mutiara Biru Perkasa)

Requirements:
  • 15 years experience in oil and gas drilling and workover industry for Rig Manager and 12 years for Tool Pusher;
  • willing to be assigned in any of PT Mutiara Biru Perkasa project location in Indonesia.
  • possessing certification on Well Cap / IWCCF, APB II or III; preferable to have certification on H2S, fire fighting, confined space, first aid or defense driving training;
  • familiar with MS. Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Email);
  • good working knowledge Of the English language
  • degree or Diploma in Engineering, preferably Petroleum Engineering. Candidates with a degree or diploma in other science disciplines may be considered provided they possess prior gas-lift experience.
  • 5 or more years experience in an engineering or technical position in the Oil & Gas industry & 3 or more years experience with Gas-Lift
  • accurate and effective oral and written communication in the English language;
  • analyzing gas-lift performance data collected using the company s WellTracerTM technology
  • preparing professional engineering reports that will be issued to company clients
  • supervising the company s daily WellTracerTM field operations and the performance of the company s field operators. Note: Routine field visits will be required;
  • reviewing and completing daily reports, such as post job summary reports, field operations summary reports and HSE reports;
  • coordinating and / or assisting with pro-job planning and monitoring job progress from the pre-planning stage through to job completion; .developing and maintaining strong client relationships;
  • following company safety, environmental and quality control management standards;
  • a good working knowledge of Word, Exel, Outlook and Windows 2000/XP; and preference will be given to candidates that are also familiar with WinGLUETM (or equivalent) and with Visio or other drawing packages (eg, Auto Sketch or AutoCad).

MANAGER (OPERATIONS) (MOPS/IRR/J09)
  • The Incumbent must be Mining engineer with extensive experience of opening/ operation of opencast coal mines, crushers overland conveyors and maintenance. Must have knowledge of mining environment related Acts, Regulations & Labour Laws of the land.
  • Reporting to General Manager - Operations, The incumbent will be responsible for managing mine operations & infrastructure development activities. Ensure that mining operations including dumping/ancillary activities are as per safety guidelines. Manage operational crew & maintain related data report. Ensure all aspects of mining including Production, Coal Handling Plant, SH&E, GA, & HR are according to the Project s KPIs & target. Coordinating and monitoring contractual mining related activities. Planning development & area of improvements for the project and its execution.
  • The incumbent must possess Pengawas Operational Madya Certification from Directorate General of Mining and Energy / First Class Mine Manager s certificate of competency (coal).
  • The candidate must have more than 9 years of experience with strong inter-personal relationship skill, management skills and must have good leadership qualities.

MANAGER - PROCUREMENT (MP/IRR/J09)
  • The incumbent must have masters qualification in materials management or Bachelors of Engineering with extensive experience procuring mine site goods and services. Must have a good knowledge of exim regulations, local purchase, contract administration commercial functions.
  • Reporting to GM (Planning) the responsibility includes handling enquiry/tender, offer/Tender preparation, Customer follow up order negotiation. Also, pre bid offer taking from Supplier, negotiation with supplier, Post bid supplier s order placement, Material follow up, Engineering & inspection coordination dispatch and material movement coordination.
  • The candidate must have more than 9 years of experience with strong inter-personal relationship skill, management skills and must have good leadership qualities.
